Resident Committee Formed Over the past six months, Arbor Gate has formed a Resident
Committee (see photo above). The Committee will have the responsibility of overseeing community
activities as well as the efforts of subcommittees that will be formed in the future. By-laws
have also been established.
Based on information/survey forms completed by all new residents, the Resident
Committee will begin to assess and structure the various working committees necessary to plan community
activities.
Each resident is asked to list their areas of interest and whether or not they would
be willing to serve on a committee or assist in some way. Committees will include everything
from volunteering to serve as program planners and library aids to kitchen workers, crafts, and
exercise room instructors. No doubt a newsletter committee will oversee and help to write articles
and items submitted to "The Gatehouse," Arbor Gate's quarterly newsletter. Most of all the community
involvement will focus around the new community building which is nearing completion.
Arbor Gate would like to thank the residents who have committed to serving on the
Resident Committee and ultimately on the various working subcommittees. We feel very comfortable
our community and the people who live here will be served efficiently and in the community's best interest.
